We value a play based emergent curriculum where educators use an ongoing reflective planning cycle and recognise children as capable confident learners we encourage children to explore discover create and imagine through play stories games and songs individually and as a group we recognise the importance of each child's active participation in leading their own learning constructing their own understanding and contributing to the learning of others children's voices are central to our curriculum we listened to their ideas questions and perspectives empowering them to make choices an influence.

We foster a warm and welcoming place for our community we respect the cultures languages and traditions of our families and recognise that families are children's first and most influential teachers together we share the responsibility for guiding and supporting children's learning and development we are proud to acknowledge the turbo peoples as the traditional owners of the lands the waters an community in which we live and learn we respect and honour the richness and diversity of aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and embed these perspectives meaningfully throughout our practises we encourage children to develop empathy respect and a sense of belonging not only within our centre but as an active caring participants in the wider community and world
